I received my BA from Brandeis University, majoring in Economics, Mathematics, and International Studies. I completed my MA in International Relations at Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey. My research interests include quantitative methodology and data science, renewable energy politics, energy policy, elite networks, social media, US Congress, and political economy. My dissertation focuses on the flow of money and interests in American and Scandinavian energy politics by bringing aspects of policy choices, political connections, and societal perceptions together. In addition to my duties as a teaching fellow, I have served as a Summer Research Fellow at the Pardee Center of BU and as a Quantitative Methods Fellow in my department.
